Rudolf Lutz’s extraordinary skills in improvisation and musical analysis, as well as his deep appreciation of choral and orchestral musicianship, single him out as the ideal conductor for the performance of Bach’s entire vocal oeuvre, the mammoth project undertaking of the J.S. Bach Foundation of St. Gallen.
